This Culture Night, the Hunt Museum invites you to wander through the galleries after hours and experience a special evening of art, stories, and culture.

Discover the treasures of the Hunt Collection alongside our landmark 2025 exhibition, From Dickie to Richard: Richard Harris Role of a Lifetime, celebrating one of Ireland’s most iconic actors.

Enjoy live family-friendly performances in the museum garden, before heading into the Captain’s Room for an evening of storytelling and music.

A traditional Irish storytelling session recounting tales and stories relating to the life and times of the late great Richard Harris. A session chronicling his lifelong association with his beloved  native Limerick in story and song.

Featuring:

  • The 13 Limerick men
  • Songs and lore of  the Limerick Rugby tradition
  • How Richard Harris became The Bull Mc Cabe

Steam in my Socks Screening

Enjoy a 8-minute film for haepsichord, narration, and moving image, exploring multiple expressions of neurodiversity including autism, stimming, sensory sensitivities, OCD and an affinity for the number 4 through a uniquely poetic and immersive lens.
