Design sketch, Water Melon

Description

Sketch on board, with title "Water Melon" written in pencil at top of sketch and "? Brass Buttons" at the bottom. Annotation "GE 59, 60, 40" written on back. A fitted double-breasted coat with a pointed collar and revers and set-in sleeves. There are flap pockets on either side and turned-up cuffs on the sleeves. The model is shown wearing gloves and holding a clutch bag.
