Design sketch

Description

Sketch on board, with annotation "VI" on the front of the board and "Mrs P" on the back. A two-piece suit (top and skirt). The above knee-length skirt is straight with a seam to the hem on either side of the wasit. The top is sleeveless and collarless in a waistcoat style. The wrapover front is buttoned along the front edge (five buttons) towards the left side. There is a welt pocket set diagonally on the left front. Winsor & Newton Fashion Plate Board.
