A tuff axehead with asymmetrical faces, a curved asymmetrical edge, a rounded butt and broad rounded sides. The edge is sharp and undamaged and the blade area and faces are well ground and regular. A highly polished surface is evident in places. The axe has an oval cross-section. This axehead was found at Lough Gur, Co. Limerick.
