Design sketch, Go-ya

Description

Sketch on board, with title "Go-ya" written in pencil on the front of the board. Annotations "67281", "190 199" written in blue biro on the tracing paper attached to the board. A knee-length coat with set-in seam pockets. The coat is fastened with a tab buttoned across the waist. There is a pointed collar with lapels. The three-quarter length sleeves are set-in. A smaller sketch shows a knee-length collarless dress with a yoke, all seams appear to be overstitched. The set-in sleeves are short. Winsor & Newton Fashion Plate Board.
