Adze
Description
A dark green/grey adze, with ovate symmetrical faces, rounded butt and sides pointed towards the blade and rounded towards the butt. One face is convex in section and the other face flat. The lower portion is pecked on both faces and sides. It appears to have been made from a cobble but the lack of evidence for grinding may be due to weathering. It is plano-convex in cross-section.
