Description

A bronze pendant or necklace portion, basically cylindrical in shape with a loop at one end and a rounded knob at the other end with a spheroid shape in the centre. (See other necklace portions T 024 B-J.) Celtic.

File of material relating to two necklace pendants. Includes photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of objects (date unspecified). Note and annotation (22 June 1995) state that these objects were copied for Craggaunowen, county Clare; photocopy of extract from exhibition catalogue in German entitled 'Ein Sammler stellt aus 3000 Jahre Schmuck aus einer Privatsammlung' (Schmuckmuseum, Pforzheim, 1972). Contains image and description of present object; photocopy of page of photograph album (date unspecified) given to the Hunt Museum by John Hunt, Junior. Annotation states that photographs shown here possibly show a display of Ball Collection objects in St Albans Museum. [Present object is visible].
