States that the corpus was found in Mannheim; letter, and photocopy thereof (2 April 1985), from Raghnall Ó'Floinn, Ireland Antiquities Division, National Museum of Ireland, to Gertrude Hunt, Drumleck cottage, Baily, Howth, county Dublin, enclosing extract from exhibition catalogue in German entitled 'Frühe Irische Kunst' (c. 1959), held at Mannheim. Exhibition catalogue describes present object and Ó'Floinn asks for an opportunity to see it. Mentions that he is currently completing an article on Ireland Romanesque crucifix figures for a Festschrift for Miss Helen Roe; black and white photographs of object and photocopies of several of them (dates unspecified); black and white photograph (date unspecified) of similar corpus held by the National Museum of Germany, Nuremberg; index card and photocopy of same (date unspecified) which describes the corpus. This object came from the Pitt Rivers Museum, Farnham, Dorset.
