Location Settings – Hugh McMahon

Location Settings refers to the artist’s process of image making; paintings made in the studio based on sketches made on location. The paintings are based on favourite, local locations and reimagined times and places without making use of lens based or digital tools. Hugh Mc Mahon grew up in Coonagh and studied painting in Limerick School of Art and Design.
