The Friends of the Hunt Museum are proud to host Dr. Marie Bourke on the 14th of November. Dr. Bourke is a Dublin-based museum professional and cultural historian, and formerly Keeper-Head of Education at the National Gallery of Ireland. Dr. Bourke will discuss the life and work of the artist Charles Lamb. Born in Co. Armagh, Lamb’s work dates from the 20th century. He had a deep affinity for the West of Ireland, travelling around the area painting and living for many years in Carraroe, Co. Galway where he ran a summer painting school.
