The food and warmth that Helen has created is truly legendary and she will be a very hard act to follow, but with the help of Helen, we have managed to find a worthy successor in Brambles. Brambles operate on the same ethos as Helen with requirements that the food must be local and authentic and the service be of high quality.  Husband and wife team Ciarán and Maeve Reid started in 1988 opening their first Cafe in the old Dundrum  Shopping Centre. They now operate several locations throughout Ireland many of which are museums and visitor attractions ranging from the World Heritage Site at Newgrange to the Cliffs of Moher in Clare.

With Brambles in place to deliver good ethically sourced food and a continuation of the members of Helen’s professional team of Aoife, Danielle, Bernie and Bridget we hope everyone will continue to enjoy visiting the cafe and get to taste some new foods.

The official handover will take place on April 25th,  Helen will finish on Friday 16th for a very well earned holiday. So to ensure continuity of service over Easter we are very excited to have Dave Corbett and the Green Onion stepping up to operate a pop-up Green Onion @ The Hunt Cafe from the 17th to the 24th of April inclusive.
