The Hunt Museum is thrilled to announce the formal opening of the Creepy Crawlies: Love/Hate exhibition on Thursday, 11th July. The launch of the Creepy Crawlies: Love/Hate Exhibition will feature two distinguished guest speakers: renowned garden designer Diarmuid Gavin and biologist, environmentalist, broadcaster, and author Éanna Ní Lamha.
Creepy Crawlies: Love/Hate Exhibition will be open to the public from Friday, 12th July until 21st November 2024. This exhibition is part of The Hunt Museum’s thematic focus for the year – biodiversity.
The exhibition aims to deepen understanding of insects’ vital role in our ecosystem, featuring pieces from the Hunt Museum’s collection that highlight their representation in art and artefacts. Families, students, and insect enthusiasts can enjoy live demonstrations, participate in educational workshops, and view unique insect-inspired art.
