Limerick, 1st November 2024. The Hunt Museum is excited to announce pARTake Art Fair, an extraordinary celebration of art and creativity incorporating some of Ireland’s biggest names in contemporary art. This unique affordable art event offers visitors the chance to meet some of Ireland’s most renowned artists, explore their works, and gain insight into their creative processes.
From 11am-3pm on Sunday, 24th November, guests will have the chance to view and purchase original, affordable artworks directly from the artists—making this a perfect occasion for both art enthusiasts and collectors. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with the talented minds behind the masterpieces and experience the journey from inspiration to completion.
By attending, not only will you be supporting the artists, but you’ll also be contributing to the Hunt Museum, helping us continue to offer dynamic exhibitions and programmes. About the Hunt Museum: The Hunt Museum, located in the heart of Limerick, houses the renowned collection of antiquities, art, and artefacts assembled by John and Gertrude Hunt. Passionate antiquarians, the Hunts collected over 2,000 objects spanning from the Neolithic period to the present day. This diverse collection includes works by iconic artists such as Pablo Picasso and Jack B. Yeats, along with a wide range of historical objects, jewellery, and decorative arts. Today, the museum serves as a cultural hub, holding the collection in trust for the people of Limerick and offering visitors a rich exploration of art and history.
